Il poeta vuole dire qualcosa. A little hint as to what is the meaning of The Voldera Cult... Or the meaning of the meaning if you please.
Almost two hours with the four fifths of The Cult convinced me that I had opposite of me four humble artists, four down-to-earth mortals, four excellent interlocutors. By now I am pretty sure that the remaining fifth member of The Cult, who I never met (but am planning to in the very near future), cannot be anything else than all of the above. After all, what is a cult, if not a group of beings determined by common beliefs and/or practices? I wish not to write about their history, one can find everything in the links given herein, but I want to humbly apologize for the unexpected technical shutdown and the individual tragedy that I experienced when we had to pull the plug on one of the best radio conversations I've had in a long time, as well as the über-crappy quality of this here recording. Go check Goliath and embrace The Cult...

3 guys, 2 releases, 45Rats. Hailing from Athens, Greece, 45Rats are long time friends and a band since 2008. They define their genre of tunes as Instrumental Heavy Rock n' Roll and rightly so, since all their compositions step firmly on classic rock n' roll foundations with a fresh perspective and a tight overall effect. Chef, Dam & Kavaldi (guitar, drums and bass respectively) kept me company for almost two hours this week, and we blasted classic and new tunes, talked about their first EP entitled 'First Gear' as well as their upcoming debut full length release 'Electric', scheduled to hit the public sometime during this year's autumn in vinyl form. Apologies for the crappy audio quality of the last half hour of this recorded version, the internet seems to play tricks on Heavy & Unhealthy's state of the art recording equipment...

Drunk Motherfuckers honoured me with their presence on this week's Heavy & Unhealthy radio show. Father W. , Manour & Andrew (vocals, bass & guitar, respectively) hang out with yours truly for 2 hours & something and shared info and opinions regarding their latest release '...And Alcohol For All', the band's past and present, plus some future endeavors (as in upcoming releases and live shows). Good times, good times...

Potergeist invaded the studio and feasted on blood and beers. Tolis and Alex (drums & vocals respectively) kept me company for two hours, during which they played music from their upcoming release (Swampires - out on August 2013, hopefully) and selected the tunes for this week's show. We talked about topics of the utmost importance, such as 'who is the sexiest guitarist in the Greek metal scene' and 'where are all the metal heads'. All in Greek. Enjoy Potergeist irresponsibly...
